I appreciate your point of view, Mike! A few clarifications: the meme at the end of my article is not actually my reinterpretation – it is already a widespread meme someone else created as an update to the original. I actually break down this new update to the meme and explain why it is still problematic. I do agree that it is not as aesthetically pleasing, too!

I also completely agree that this meme is best used when trying to convey to someone from the general public (i.e. someone that is not in the industry, like friends or family) what UX and UI are. This is my concluding point in the article :)
